Senior Consultant Haematologist
Dr Ng Chin Hin is a Senior Consultant Haematologist who specialises in Leukaemia and other blood cancers. In addition, he has wide experience in the management of general haematological conditions (such as clotting disorders, anaemia, bleeding disorders).
He was the Leukaemia Lead at National University Cancer Institute of Singapore (NCIS) and has more than 10 years experience in this field. He is active in clinical research and was the Research Director for the Haematology Division in the Department of Haematology-Oncology at NCIS. In addition, he was also actively involved in undergraduate training and was an Assistant Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
Dr Ng is passionate about improving the outcome of acute leukaemia by means of MRD-guided therapy and optimising the use of novel targeted therapy. He firmly believes that MRD-guided treatment of Acute Leukaemia in combination with novel targeted therapy provides optimum treatment outcome and minimises unnecessary toxicity.
Dr Ng is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Bahasa.
Dr Ng’s dedication to research is reflected in his active involvement in various national trials for leukaemia, MPN and myeloma as the principal investigator and co-investigator. Below are some of his key publications.
