I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Joanne and her wonderful team of nurses—both at the front desk and in the infusion room—for the exceptional care I received during my visit on Monday. Dr. Joanne was thorough, thoughtful, and uplifting, taking the time to explain my treatment with clarity and compassion. The nurses were equally outstanding. The front desk nurse went above and beyond to accommodate me with an appointment despite the busy clinic schedule, and the infusion room nurses demonstrated great skill and gentleness throughout the process. From the moment I arrived until the time I left, the entire experience was marked by professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. It was truly a pleasure to be treated in such an environment, and I will gladly recommend your practice to my friends and colleagues.

I’ve got referred to dr Lim from another MD. dr Lim addressed my headaches issues, it turned out I have blood issues where my iron would always shoot high. Since then, I’ve been under care of the clinic. Staff and nurses are in good hospitality, very excellent care, and they make me feel comfortable whenever venesection is done to me

Just leaving a note to express our gratitude to the centre staff members and Dr Lim Zi Yi for their professionalism, dedication and passion towards the work they undertake. We just fell on their contact details through simple google searches, and were initially worried about whether booking for an appointment would be worth it. But at the end, it turned out to be a very good choice. Dr Lim provided useful insights for my brother's disease (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia), and advised a lot on whether a bone marrow transplant should be considered or not mid-way during the treatment. He was also very open talking to us as a family, accompanied by our doctor. Treatment options were also discussed, as well as costing issues. I would highly recommend anyone seeking to discuss about treatment options to book for such a session.

I have been undergoing chemo therapy for the last 6 mths and have always felt very comforted by the compassion and empathy that Nurul n Mag has extended not only to me but to all the patients.
I have been a difficult patient to them as my viens are very thin and it’s takes a lot of time ,skill and patience to be able to find it. Moreso I have phobia of needles. Yet they are always encouraging me and patient.
I must commend them for their exceptional care extended on my 6th visit. After completion of my chemo , when I returned from the toilet, I experienced a sharp spasm in my tummy. Dr. Lim had left and they could not prescribe any medication. Nurul was so caring, she applied some ointment and massage my tummy . She suspected it was gas built up. Shortly I began to burp and I felt much relief.
Mag even when down to Guardian to purchase a bottle of peppermint essential oil roller for my use as she uses it herself. When I wanted to pay her for it, she declined and said it’s for her personal use too.Such act of kindness by Nurul and Mag is beyond the call of duty and I am so grateful to be under their care. Tq from the bottom of my heart🙏Please convey my heart felt thanks to them and ensure they are aware of my feedback.

I approached Dr Ng for his advice regarding my blood test results. Dr Ng listened to my concerns intently and was quick to allay my fears. He also took the time to explain to me the science behind the blood test results. To say he is a compassionate doctor would be a massive understatement. My compliments to his team of nurses and administrative staff. They are efficient and friendly. Overall, I am very pleased with the services provided to me. Thank you!

My mother has been under Dr. Lim’s treatment since May 2022. We don’t know how to express our gratitude to the wonderful Dr. Lim and the nurses at the clinic. Dr. Lim is extremely competent and exceptionally compassionate. He has been there for my mother and the family throughout the time whether it was late at night or early morning. He has made so much effort to provide the best of care and treatment which is why my mother feels so confident and reassured. The nurses Magdeline, Janet and Noor are absolutely wonderful! They are so skilled and so very caring and honestly we don’t know how to thank them for their effort and care. Maisha and other staff at the front desk are also very supportive. My mother really likes the nurses and the entire team at the Clinic. We just want to say “Thank you for everything!”

I feel so blessed under gone treatment of leukemia under Doctor Ng Chin Hin at Gleneagles hospital. After 7 months of treatment I recovered well as all the tumours are undetected and bone marrow test is healthy too. Doctor Ng was a very skillful, caring and friendly person, he gave me supports and made me feel safe every time including those emergency admissions in the midnight during my treatment.

Transplant was such an heavy weighted words that I knew it comprises many components and procedures with objective to obatain to rebuild my immune system. On my first visit with Dr. Lim office and armed with thousands of questions, the journey begin. The well prepared initial presentation by Dr. Lim and his team cover 75% of my question marks and remaining concerns was addressed through discussions. During the planning and preparation phases, all procedures were done well, a good testiments of their exprieiences and professionalism. The actual transplant operation were through as planned and the outcome was a success which is a a life saving operation in my case. It was an extremely postive exprience and I want to extend my ulmost appreication to Dr. Lim and his team.

Thank you to the team of CfCH @ Mount E Novena for excellent and seamless experience. Appointment scheduling is always a breeze through WhatsApp and the team always make best effort to accommodate our schedule. Dr. Lim is very patient and attentive in addressing my concerns. He is very reassuring and explain the treatment plan in detailed lay terms to ensure we understand the diagnosis and treatment plan. Special mention to Magdalene, the nurse with magic hands. She is excellent and professional at drawing blood and inserting cannula. Having gone through many blood tests and cannula insertion, I am very pleased that she always ensure the blood draw and cannula inserts are pain free. A definite asset to the clinic! I was diagnosed with AML in March 2021 and came to Singapore for treatment at the most challenging COVID time. I am blessed to be treated by Dr. Ng and Dr. Lim - the most brilliant hematologist doctors. Both doctors have such a big hearts - very kind, very supportive, very professional. When I was admitted they used to come to visit me twice a day no matter if it was holiday or weekend over several months. Such a dedication !!!
Thanks to Dr. Lim and Dr. Ng and clinic angels Magdalene, Elaine, Nurul and all, I passed the most difficult time of my life. I call them all ANGELS !!!

Highly recommend this excellent haematology clinic. From arranging the appointment over the 'phone with the very helpful April on the front desk, followed by a smooth registration and welcome by her and Maisha, a thorough initial consultation by Dr Lim - who has a very reassuring and professional manner - and the painless drawing of blood for further tests in the squeaky clean treatment room by first class nurses, and finally my subsequent review meeting, this was a rare event in my experience of Singapore clinics....minimal waiting times, a very personal feel, no sense of being 'commoditized'....don't hesitate to make this your haematology destination of choice.

Our family sees Dr. Lim and Dr. Tung because of the professional yet personal, caring touch they both bring to the experiences we have with them, and because of the warm and friendly culture at the clinic. After I was diagnosed with myeloma in mid 2019, the hospital recommended I be put under the care of Dr Lim. As I grapple with this new crisis event in my life, I truly appreciate Dr Lim for his sincere advice, clear explanation and gentle patience. Dr Lim walked through with me and my wife, each process of treatment and medication, from chemotherapy to stem cell harvest to transplant. He discussed about managing expectations, even advised on getting back to my work 🙂 I'm also thankful to his team, for prompt follow-up, further clarification (when needed) and genuine concern during each visit to the clinic. Thank God I'm currently in remission and will complete the maintenance program by end 2020. Hai, nama saya Johnny. Saya didiagnosis anemia aplastik sejak januari 2020, awalnya saya berencana untuk melakukan transplantasi dengan Dr Lim di Rs Mount E Novena. Tapi karena situasi COVID 19, transplantasi saya batal, karena tidak berhasil mendapatkan donor, Dr Lim menyarankan saya untuk melakukan treatment ATG ( imunotherapy) di Rs Gleneagles, agar saya tidak perlu terus menerus melakukan transfusi darah. Di Rs Gleneagles, saya dirawat oleh Dr Ng Chin Hin, Dr Ng Chin Hin adalah team dari Dr Lim dan mereka bekerjasama dengan sangat baik, dan saya dirawat selama 5 minggu di RS Gleneagles dan Dr Ng mengobati saya dengan sangat baik dengan metode ATG (imunotherapy). Dr Ng sangat teliti, dan sangat perhatian kepada pasien - pasien nya, sehingga kita bisa merasa aman. Dr Ng bukan hanya ahli di bidangnya, Dia juga sangat komunikatif untuk menjelaskan tahapan tahapan pengobatan yang akan saya lalui dan juga dengan sabar menjawab pertanyaan pertanyaan yang saya ajukan. Hi, my name is Johnny. I was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia in January 2020. I was initially planned for a bone marrow transplant under Dr Lim Zi Yi at Mt E Novena, but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the Covid19 pandemic as my matched donor was not available for my transplant. Dr Lim suggested to me that I have ATG treatment instead, with the hope to improve my blood count so that I do not require blood transfusions. I was treated by Dr Ng at Gleneagles Hospital who is in the same team as Dr Lim. They work together very well. I was admitted to Gleneagles Hospital for 5 weeks to receive ATG treatment. Dr Ng treated me very well with ATG. He is very careful and detailed about patient care which made me feel at peace. Dr Ng is not only an expert in his field, but he is also very communicative and provides great details on the treatment I was going through. He was very patient in answering all me queries. He knows what he is doing and you will know that he is very sincere. Today (11 Jun 2020) is my 49th day without a blood transfusion, and my condition is improving every day. HE SAVED MY LIFE! I was diagnosed in August 2017 with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) when I was 67 years old. Unfortunately due to the government policy in Hong Kong and the limitation of resources, stem cell transplant in Hong Kong would only be considered for patients of 60 years old or under and as such, I was not qualified. After some research and discussions with my family, we decided to pursue Singapore as the place for a possible bone marrow transplant and we were quickly recommended to find Dr Lim who is one of the top-notch bone marrow transplant specialists in Singapore. We flew to meet Dr Lim In Dec 2017 for an initial meeting which was extremely helpful, and he demonstrated professionalism and genuine care that I had not received from other doctors. We went back to see him again in four months for the transplant which turned out to be very successful. While there were days during the process when I had high fever and chills at night, Dr. Lim went above and beyond in making sure my needs were addressed during those late nights. Since then, I had a remarkable recovery thanks to Dr Lim! He literally saved my life, and I could not thank him more for giving me a second chance to life.

His holistic approach and excellent bed manner helped me get through a challenging transplant.

Having had the blood cancer 3 years ago, I would have said that there had been no hope for me at that point of time until I met Dr. Lim. I dare to say that with Dr. Lim, I would have myself today much recovered from the treatment designed by Dr. Lim. He put his care and heart towards myself especially when I were at the quarantined area for the chemotherapy. I would love to share how grateful I am to Dr. Lim during 4 months non-stop treatment at Mount E Novena where I could find the light of my life. Sometimes you don't have a choice when one falls ill but you can choose whom to believe and place your trust in. My family and I went with our gut feel and decided Dr Lim is the one who will walk the journey together.
In the midst of all confusion and frustrations from trying to understand my medical condition to seeking the optimal treatment outcome, Dr Lim has given me such care and encouragement, not just as a doctor but as a great human being! He listens and very often put a smile on your face, I guess he knows when one is going through a difficult time, you feel anxious and helpless at times but he will be the one to lighten up the situation besides offering recommendations on the next course of action. I didn't feel so alone and fearful with Dr Lim around.
We felt confident in his care management, never intimidated to ask questions when in doubt. The mutual trust and reliance in your doctor helped to comfort a weary soul. Today I'm well and healthy and looking back, we can't thank Dr Lim enough for his kind help and expertise, the capable nurses and every individual who has rendered much help along the way.
And...do not be surprised if you see Dr Lim in the ward on sundays and late at night! The little things he does for his patients are beyond words! We appreciate your sincere thoughts from our hearts, Dr Lim 🙂

I was transferred to Mt Elizabeth Novena and placed under Dr Lim’s care after 2 rounds of chemotherapy. Dr Lim is one of the very few hematologists in Singapore specializing in the haploidentical technique, a transplant which allows me to obtain healthy marrow from my sister even though we are not a perfect match. I want to emphasize that Dr Lim’s knowledge is leading edge and his track record of recovery rate is top notch here in Singapore and in the region.
Complimenting his expertise in treating leukemia, Dr Lim is very dedicated and responsible to the well-being of all his patients. I remember that he would come directly to the hospital to check on all his patients in the ward the moment he landed, after short medical trips overseas. He also exuded confidence as he communicated the roadmap and milestones towards the transplant. In turn, these discussions gave me and my caregivers a lot of assurance, and I felt that there was light at the end of the tunnel with Dr Lim helping me.
Dr Lim has excellent bedside manners and is always patient to listen and answer my questions and clear my doubts. Seeing Dr Lim’s smiley face every morning when I was in the ward brightened my day; he inspired courage and confidence in me so I never cried or complained of the painful side effects of the chemo and transplant.
I’m truly grateful to Dr Lim, who helped to heal me at the darkest moment in my life. Now in full remission for 16 months, I’m back with my family, looking after my kids, working and pursuing my hobbies again.

My mother was diagnosed with a blood condition known as Myeloma in January 2016. She was immediately taken to Singapore and placed under Dr Lim Zi Yi’s care. Dr Lim explained complex procedures, but he did it in a way that was easy to comprehend which helped reduce our anxiety about the procedures my mom was about to undergo then.
Soon she was admitted. The very thought of hospitalization was scary and traumatizing. But Dr Lim left no stones unturned in making my mother feel at home. He would often walk in and check on stuffs; right from the food she received at the hospital to even building up a conversation to make her feel better. Dr Lim spent time to look beyond the medical reports and understood the difficulties my mother went through.
During her stay at the hospital my mother underwent few chemotherapies and a couple of radiotherapies but nothing could jeopardize her lively nature. She had zero hair loss with negligible health deterioration and looked pretty even on her hospital bed. All thanks to Dr Lim! His healing hands had worked wonders on my mother. He had all her therapies and medication designed in such a way that it was really difficult to call my mother a cancer patient!
Dr Lim is not only highly experienced but is at the leading edge of his specialty. His overwhelming passion for his work and absolute dedication towards his patients could be reflected in his compassionate and empathetic treatment of my mother’s illness.
Dr Lim was a therapist, a supporter, a well wisher and an angel in disguise for my mother. And in return my mother had blind faith in her doctor and believed she was in the safest hand possible. He treated my mother at the Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore for 5 months and had her on follow-up for another year.
Dr Lim is not only an extraordinary doctor but also an extraordinary human being. He knows how to communicate with his patients beyond the boundaries of medical science. I would like to thank him for showing so much care and concern. I wish my mother was alive today. She would have loved to pen down her words of gratification for him.

I was diagnosed with Lymphoma in August 2016 and was in Dr. Lim's care throughout...taking for granted his professional brilliance, what is exceptional about Dr. Lim is that he is proactive and pragmatic, honest and transparent, always making sure the patient feels included, aware and in control of the condition and treatment. The worst thing about a critical illness is that you feel you don't know what is going and your life is in someone else's hands. In Dr. Lim 's care, my family and I never felt at any stage that we were left out, in the dark or unaware of what was going on and we trusted him completely! The trust in our doctor played a huge role in us remaining calm during the dark days as we were always well prepared by Dr. Lim and knew what to anticipate and expect when things got worse.
With regard to professional courtesy, bedside manner and good humour. Dr. Lim and his team are par excellance - My family and I could never have made it through the tough times without their love, care and laughter!
Finally, for patients like me who do not live in Singapore, his response time on watsap is worth a Guinness book entry! Irrespective of the time, weekend or holiday, you can be sure Dr. Lim will respond.
